Ink-stained Dreams

 I've been writing a lot the last few weeks in my books and story ideas. I've been thinking a lot about where I've come since I started writing, where I want to go, how I want to write, what I want to write, and the struggles of writing. Writing is such a blessing to me. It helps me put aside thoughts of myself and try to put myself in others shoes. It lets me put into words the story I want, the ideas I want, the feeling I want. It's how I paint my world in my head. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I didn't write. *big eyes* It would be really weird and I might go crazy. LOL. When I started writing books it was the settings and romance that I sought to make come alive, but I've gone a little beyond that now. The thing I love most about writing stories is the people. I love to put people in a setting and them make them apart of that setting. The setting comes alive, the person comes alive. The plot is were I love to throw in some hooks. Like real life...

 I don't do very many photo dumps but I figured I would when I can in 2021. These are the pictures I've taken so far in 2021. These pictures go from newest to oldest. I didn't purposely do this, but I painted a picture and then found a very similar one I painted years ago!   I made this card for a friend. I don't often draw unless it just sketching but I sat down and drew this the other week. I drew this a couple years ago from a art book I was doing. My memory verse for school. I've been getting up early and I love to sit by candle light. I made a sticker!  There's something so fulfilling in making a nice loaf of bread.  Well, that's it!   GAH! The last chpater!!! Wow! I can't believe I've made it to the end!! Ready? GO! Chapter 14 Tex sat against the wall starring blankly into space, twisting his hands together. Luke watched him from his blankets. "He's worried, isn't he?" Pauline asked leaning close to Luke's ear. Luke nodded. "Hey, Tex?" He asked quietly. Tex looked up. "Yeah?" "Are you okay?" "I'm fine. Just trying to find away to get out of here," Tex said, running a hand over his hair and down his neck. "Come up with any plans?" Pauline asked. "Nope." He leaned his head back with another sigh of frustration. "What about your brothers and Ben? I'll bet they'll try and find us." Pauline suggested. Tex nodded. With a smirk he commented to Luke, "Remember the trouble maker during the war? I told you about him. We met him again, when we came after you. He came along with us to h...

Time for Chapter 13. Guess what! There's only one more chapter after this!!! *hops up and down then cries* Chapter 13 Tex sat by Luke's side in silent prayer. He had been over and over the room, looking for a loose board or any other way out. He found none and even if he did find away out, Luke was to sick to move.  Tex turn at a quiet sob. Pauline had pulled her knees to her face and was crying quietly against them, rocking gently back and forth. Tex tried to think of something to say but couldn't find the words. So, he just reached out and patted her hand.  Pauline looked up and wiped her eyes on her selves. "I'm sorry. It just seams so... so..."  "I'm sorry you got dragged into this." Tex apologized. "I promise, I will try my hardest to get you out of here. God willing, I'll succeed."  "Thank you. I don't know you well but I trust you. I know you will do your best." Pauline whispered. "It's...

Ready? Time for our story to continue! Chapter 12 "Mind if I ask you something?" Ben asked from across the table at Lady Marge's. "Not at all, Ben." Tom put down his small black Bible. "You and your brothers are always talking about God." Ben hesitated as if trying to find the right words. "I... Do you really believe all that stuff?" Tom nodded. "We do."  "I use to go to church," Ben said. "I left though. It didn't make seance to me. I mean, you have to do so much and be so perfect. It's impossible." "Your right." Tom nodded. Ben looked startled. "Huh? I don't get it. I thought..." "It is impossible. Without Jesus. No one can be perfect. God knows that. That's why he sent Jesus here to earth. To die for our sins. SO... last time I put a chapter on, it ended with Luke getting a punch in the stomach. Remember? Now it's time to continue... Chapter 11 Foss went to kick Luke again but Pauline grabbed him around the legs, tripping him.  "Get out of here!" Foss yelled, pushing her off.  Pauline gasped as hands suddenly helped her to her feet. "I'll take care of this," said a familiar voice. Tex pull Foss up by the front of his shirt and smashed a fist into his face. Foss yelled in anger. Tex stepped back to get away from a wild punch and tripped on Foss's placed boot. Tex fell to the ground and before he could get up Foss charged.  Tex placed his elbows firmly on the ground and brought up his boots. They caught Foss in mid charge and sent him flying over Tex's head.  Sploosh! Foss landed in the stream. He scrambled to his feet and turned around glaring at Tex. Oh, God please help Tex!
