The 30 Day Challenge // Day Twenty-six

Day Twenty-six: My earliest Memory:  I sat here a thought and thought. I really have no clue what my earliest memory is. I have random memories that I can't put to a place and time.  One memory I have is of a plane shaped swing that hung on our front porch in the house my Mom and Dad lived in when I was born. I must of been young because I was being push in it and I know from other people talking about it and home videos that I was the baby. (One or two?) Man, all the sudden I miss my little red airplane. When I was older I remember swinging in it and sing, "I'm flying in an airplane, looking out the window, watching the world go by. I'm flying in an airplane, looking out the window, watching the world go by!" ~Kylie Nancy

Memory A Month // October 2020

Memory A Month // October 2020 I'm sorry I missed last months Memory! Forgive me? Here's October's Memory of the Month! Picture Removed By Author Five years ago on the 30th of this month. My family joyfully welcomed Heather into our family. There I am with her in the picture.  I can remember how we were awakened early in the morning and told to get dressed and ready to go. We all knew what that meant! Mom was having the baby! I remember all of us kids standing in the kitchen waiting for some friends from church to come pick us up and bring us to their house. The house was filled with nervous excitement. I watch the midwives caring in supplies and I had excitement giving me shivers all over. When we where picked up I remember not being able to quite bouncing up and down in my seat. It was all so exciting. Being woke up in the middle of the early morning, and to be driven away to someone else house, knowing that when we went back we would have a new baby sister! We waited an...

Memory a Month // August 2020

Ready for Memory A Month? *laughs and covers mouth* I've a good one this time! Picture Removed By Author Can you guess what happening in this picture? *laughs* This was six years ago, when my family was moving into a new house. (We've moved a lot. This is the third house we had moved to. The house we live in now is our sixth house seance I was born.) My Uncle and Aunt and their kids came to help us move. Moving, besides the sad fact you will never see your house again, has always been fun and a adventure. I have many memories in the house we moved to in this picture, even though we were there only a very short time. I can remember playing "town" in our sheds out back. There were two of them, and one would be the store and one the post office/ telegraph office. Or one the Sheriffs office and jail, and the other the sables. The possibilities were endless! But I've taken a rabbit trail here. Back to the picture. Has any of you tried to pop a Mosquito? You know, ...

Memory a Month // July 2020

I thought it would be fun to share a memory a month. Once every month I will share a random picture with a short story about that time or just a short memo. Perhaps no picture at all but a story about a time I remember. Some stories might just be funny or happy memories while others might share life's lessons.  So here's my first one: Memory if the month // July 2020 Seance it's July, I went to the month of July 2016. I took this picture one day when I was dreaming of having a blog.*laughs* Yep. I used to dream of having a blog. Now I do! Picture Removed By Author Yes, that's me. Little Kid that I was. I was going to do a tour of my garden. And it was my garden. I planted it all myself that year. I planted, watered and cared for it. I think it had three rows. I don't remember for sure, but I think that only a few things grew... or actually produced anything but it was great fun. And I learned you have to take good care of your garden if you want anything to gr...
