Narnia Tag

Certainly not my normal kind of tag, but I thought it would be fun so let's get to it!

Rules

1. Thank the person who nominated you.  Katelyn tag me for this. Thank you!
2. Rate your degree of "Narnia fanatic" (nostalgic, serious, maniacal)
3. Answer the questions below
4. Tag 5+ bloggers
5. Have fun!

Scale of Fanaticism

1. Nostalgic Fanatic: You read the books and/or watched the movies as a child and the word Narnia gives you a warm feeling.
2. Serious Fanatic: You rediscovered the wonder of Narnia after you were older and have read the books and watched the movies.
3. Maniacal Fanatic: You have lived Narnia from childhood, hid in closets on more occasions than is healthy, have read and watched all the movies including the BBC version.

I'd call myself a Nostalgic Fanatic: I've read the books as a kid and, just because it was something new and exciting for me, I loved it. The word Narnia doesn't really give me a warm feeling... but I mean, I guess it could...Maybe.

Questions

1. Who's your favorite Pevensie sibling?
Peter, because I like his sense of honor and dignity. He's a great big brother too.

2. What is the most underrated Narnia book?
Hmm... Probably the last one, The Last Battle. But I'm not sure... I don't know all that many people that have read it.

3. Who is your favorite Narnian king?
Prince Caspian. Definitely, Caspian.

4. Who is your favorite Narnian queen?
Hmm... Helen. I've always thought she sounded like the sweetest lady!

5. Which non-human Narnian do you like best?
Bree from The Horse and His Boy.

6. Which book deserves a movie?
I agree with Katelyn, "I think that The Horse and His Boy would be such a cool movie to watch just because of the scenery. Miles of country, the sea, the desert, the cities of Tashbaan, Archenland, and Narnia. Yeah, that would be so fun to see."

7. What is one thing you did as a Narnian fan that you do not regret?
Not much but talked. I like to talk though. I talk and talk about all the books I've read.

I tag...

Anyone who wants to because I can't think of anyone I know of that has read them!

  1. Fun answers! Oh, I forgot about Bree! He's pretty entertaining. Helen does sound like such a sweet lady, and I like what you said about Peter.

It looks like I'm back

Hi there. It's Kylie here. It's been a while, hey? *laughs* Well, I'm back for at least one post. I thought I would just give a little update, about my crazy, exciting, boarding, sad, life. To begin with: my brother's wedding! I know I left off blogging right before their wedding because life was SO busy then... and hasn't really slowed down at all. The wedding was fabulous! It still brings a smile to my face to remember that special day. My brother and his bride were beaming with joy and it just radiated over the whole place. My heart still warms with the memory of how they walked out man in wife, their faces lit up with happiness! *sigh* If only I could live that day over again. But now for a few pictures... just a couple. *winks* *laughs* Yeeaahhh... Jew a couple pictures. *winks* And there's more! Now they are going to have a baby!!!!!!! I'm going to be an aunt! *squeals* *does happy dance* Isn't that amazing?! Such a blessing! 💖💗💖💗 The baby won...

The 20 Questions Book Tag

I was tag for this a while ago but I want to do it! So, here it is a little late! 1. How many books are too many in a series?  It depends on the series. If the series is good, it doesn't matter really. 2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?  I like them! If you didn't have them the story wouldn't be so exciting! I have a ton of fun putting them in my books.  3. Hardcover or paperback? I like paperback. It's easier to read from one, but a hardcover lasts longer. 4. What's your favorite book?  I don't really have a  favorite book. There are to many to choose from. So I'll just say the Bible.  5. Least favorite book? I don't really have a least favorite. I normally like books as long as they're clean and all that. 6. Fiction or nonfiction? Fiction mostly. 7. The most recent book you couldn't finish? Swiss Family Robinson.  It's the long one! I might finish it yet. 8. A book you're currently reading?  A Quiet Neighborhoo...
