The Buck Brothers // Epilogue

Epilogue

Texas, Thomas, Charles, and Luke Buck went back to their ranch. When they arrived they found their ranch well taken care of and their cattle all accounted for. A gift from Tim Moor for saving his life. Tim Moor returned to his previous job as sheriff.
Texas Buck and Pauline Baker were married eight months later. As their wedding gift to Texas and Pauline, Thomas, Charles, and Luke gave them the whole Buck ranch. Tex and Pauline had five children. Four boys and one girl.
Thomas became a minister and lived most his life in the small settlement of Lady Marge. Which became a large, bustling town over time. Thomas married and had two daughters.
Charles and Luke went east. Surprisingly it was Charles, not Luke, who stayed and became a businessman. He married Mary Lawman, the daughter of a book store keeper and they had ten children.
After the adventure in this book, Luke never fully recovered his health.  Luke returned to the Buck ranch where he was readily welcomed to live and work. Luke never married.
As for Pauline's five brothers, Flint, York, Adam, Robert, and Mark. Flint got his father's ranch and live there with his wife and eight children. York and Robert went to the coast and started a business together. Both got married and had children. Adam joined the US Army. Then he settled in Kansas. He never married. As for Mark, he became a Texas ranger. He was so, until he died in an fight near the Mexican border.

Pollyanna 1960 versus Pollyanna 2003

Hi, Blog Fans! The other day we watched the newer version on Pollyanna . I grew up watching the amazingly sweet Disney version of the movie, but I remember that I had seen a new one. We watched it just to see what it was like. Now I want to share what I think of the two movies. Pollyanna 1960 Pros and cons: Pro/con. Pollyanna the 1960's movie is made by Disney, which is a pro or con depending on how you look at it, reason being that Disney, especially Walt Disney, movies have great actors and you can always expect good quality, but I can't say I like Disney, as in the producers or what the portray in their films, very much since Walt died. There is a lot of Walt Disney/Disney movies I like though. Maybe I'll do a post on my favorites some day. Pro. The actors, especially Hayley Mills, are great! Pro. Pollyanna is such a happy or should I say,"glad," movie! Pollyanna is such a fun girl to watch, with a big smile, a two big bright eye...
