Memory a Month // August 2020

Ready for Memory A Month? *laughs and covers mouth* I've a good one this time!

Can you guess what happening in this picture? *laughs* This was six years ago, when my family was moving into a new house. (We've moved a lot. This is the third house we had moved to. The house we live in now is our sixth house seance I was born.) My Uncle and Aunt and their kids came to help us move. Moving, besides the sad fact you will never see your house again, has always been fun and a adventure. I have many memories in the house we moved to in this picture, even though we were there only a very short time. I can remember playing "town" in our sheds out back. There were two of them, and one would be the store and one the post office/ telegraph office. Or one the Sheriffs office and jail, and the other the sables. The possibilities were endless! But I've taken a rabbit trail here. Back to the picture. Has any of you tried to pop a Mosquito? You know, when one bites you, you flex you muscles tight and the 'skitter can't pull back out or stop drinking your blood? If you can do it long enough, the skitter will drink so much it pops! Gross, I know. But I don't know if we've ever succeeded at it. It's Hard! Trust me. The strain from holding your muscles so tense gets you faster then the skitter can drink. SO, that's what's happening here. Everyone is watching the 'skitter swell up! As you can tell my Uncle's face is turning red with the strain and everyone is laughing. I think the skitter got away though, but it left with a stomach ache I assure you! *laughs*
A life lesson? Hmm... well, Don't be like a Mosquito, drinking in your own selfish pleasures! If you do you can been caught on a trap, that will try it's hardest not to let you go! Good news is that once you realize the trap your in, you can get free, by the forgiveness of the cross, the great grace of God. Believing in him, you have a sword to fight free of the trap and to live a new life free of bondage! With Christ as your savior you are free and the joy is something un-explainable! Something only a person believing can know. Praise God, the Most High!

February 2019

Hi, again! Welcome back to my blog! I've changed the name to Ink-Stained Dreams! Thank you Emily for the idea! I love it! I've been a little frustrated with my blog recently! I'm not good with things like this, and have found that I've gotten a bit of things messed up. I can't figure some things out! My first blog was under my mom's name and she had it all figured out for me. When I started this blog I had to make TWO attempts! The first one I deleted because I thought I messed up! (I didn't though) Every time I open this blog it says there's an error and I have to reload the page! *sigh* Computers are just not my thing! I've managed so far, but it still drives me crazy! I might do posts more often, only I know it will frustrate me. But, I'm not going to just complain in this post! Here is a little update on my life within the last month! What do I do to take up my time? I write a lot, and read even more! Right n...

Okay, I was going to have you all vote on your favorite book name out of ten names, but I made a book cover with one of the names and I LOVE it! I made a couple more so you can still vote. So, here you go... Read the names carefully! *wink*   I love this one! Which one do you like best?                            Oh, and which cover do you like best for The Buck Brothers ?                                      See you in the comments!                                      ~Kylie
